A little about Laura Valenti:
Laura Valenti is a qualified Movement Medicine dance teacher and facilitator.
In her early thirties, she was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. While undergoing treatments for cancer she committed to deepening her exploration of movement as medicine.
Her curiosity and passion for learning led her over two decades to study formally and informally many modalities, including the Andean cosmology, Theta healing, Polarity therapy, animism, laughter yoga and earth-based spirituality. She is a qualified sound&voice therapist, somatic&trauma-sensitive coach and trained professionally in physical theatre and clowning.
Laura background is in law, sociology of migration and human rights.
She shared her work internationally with indigenous communities, people in drug and alcohol rehabilitation, refugees, women victim of domestic violence and vulnerable children.
A Moon dancer, nomad at heart, lover of community, music, drums, wilderness and ceremony, Laura Valenti was born in Italy, where she learnt about good food, hospitality and colourful swearing.
She currently lives in Spain where she enjoys where she offers individual and group sessions in person and online. Her latest program is dedicated to midlife women who want to embrace personal and collective healing, balance, belonging and restore sacred kinship with all life.
